You can call yourself anything you want to. Unfortunately, though, some folks are stuck in standards of notation and when confronted with an anomaly, they feel it's just a typo and "correct" it to do you a favor.

At 6, I wanted to be a fireman. At 12, I wanted to be a rock star. I figured I could play concerts at night, fight fires during the day - until someone reminded me that fires won't confine themselves to a schedule.

Absolutely. I've done so many times in the past and when out of town on my own, I at least go to dinner by myself. I don't prefer it at all - for me, dinner out is about the social interaction and mutual enjoyment of good food, rather than just filling my stomach.

I have been to Alaska twice and I LOVE it! In fact, I have a short story in progress about a guy who goes back up to Fairbanks for a reunion with some old school friends (in June). You know, all night Solstice Softball...

I would most definitely do childhood over again, but with wisdom I gained over the years. In fact, like most writers, I've thought about writing a story / novel / screenplay based on that very theme. The rest of the details will come when I write it!
