The work study program is given through the financial aid office, but that does not mean you can't work on campus. We have many positions on campus from the admissions office, the book store... There are lots of different jobs in the area from the local lumber yard to retaurants.

If you have to move because of work- it wont be a problem. There may be some ramifications if you just decide to move without direct justification.
The main criteria for instate tuition is that the student and family live in MD- graduate from a MD high school and that the family pays MD taxes. -
You can either send us the form in your admit packet, email the office of admissions (admissions@smcm.edu) or decline from the portal.

Awesome! Glad to hear your son will be attending SMCM in the fall. in paying the deposit, his email has been activated. You will find his email address in the acceptance letter. The registrar should have those AP credit reviews completed by the time they register for classes July.
