Will it be possible for U.S. to earn three spots at World's for 2011?
I say yes.
Jeremy Abbott, despite the short program from hell in Vancouver, still has to be considered a major threat to not only medal but win this event. I think his time has come to finally put it down at a major ISU event and I think he'll be hungry for it.
Adam Rippon just won the Four Continents Cup and I see no reason to believe he can't manage a top ten in Torino, especially with the absence of Lysacek, Lambiel, and Weir.
Ryan Bradley is a bit of a wildcard but I think he has a good shot at doing well too.
I think the U.S. is still in great shape to earn three spots for next year.
