Ironman - he's actually a scientist/engineer. Batman outsources all his gadget making.

A signed autobiography of Tom Baker - met him at a book signing in Gateshead, England. A signed poster for Douglas Adams' Starship Titanic - he was dishing them out at a Mac expo in London.

I would want long straight magical chameleonic hair whose vibrant colours and intricate patterns I could change with a thought. I love having long hair, but detangling and ironing it is a pain and I wish I could change colours *far* more frequently than I do.

I used to have a crush on metallic pink, but these days almost all my clothing adornments (d rings, buckles etc) are silver. Unfortunately that clashes with the gold accents on my black dress watch, and also the bronze buckles on the Senso ankle boots I bought in December.

Just with my spouse. Car's technically in her name, but even when the previous one was in mine I'd check she didn't need it rather than presuming I could just run off with it on any given day. Our library of books is a big grey area too - some books are definitely mine or hers, others are not so clear. Furniture is all joint (my 60s pneumatic bubble chairs aside), clothing all separate.

Perhaps it is related to the flavour 'pink,' as embodied by pink Tim Tams. I <3 them, but they definitely don't taste of strawberry.

Mathematics. The entire complex subject is built off a small set of axioms, none of which are considered beyond question. Beautiful, highly rewarding, and astoundingly applicable given its pure foundations.

The violent blue Triumph TR7 I was driving in the mid 90s was called Sam, but J & I have only had one car between us since 1997, so names haven't been as important.

Back when Crisco had an advertising jingle of "Crisco, it's light!" and I was a 36kg year 9 I copped "Crisco" a bit, but that was more a barely affectionate taunt than a nickname. So, not really.

Hopefully do a Sydney/Melbourne/Tassie trip round midyear. Wouldn't mind getting back to the UK again as well, but that'd require a financial windfall.

Christmas isn't as meaningful to me as it used to be, but I'm still quite fond of our traditional swim at Cottesloe Beach on Chrismas Morning. It's a couple of blocks from my step-grandmother's house, and there's usually an uncle or two and a few cousins along :)
