WTF? If you don't already know then I don't know I can explain to you. Firstly... Your joke will most likely not be perceived as a joke to the person travelling. It isn't even funny, so why bother saying it?

Secondly, when you ask for a souvenir the person has to go out of his way to find something appropriate for you and then he has to spend money to buy it when usually people who are travelling are already spending too much as it is. Then you make him have to sacrifice a luggage space for you, especially if you asked for something big.

ADDITIONALLY... you may think it's just a small issue but if there are 10 of you buay paiseh people around, this poor traveller has to shop for so many people. He would barely have time to do this own stuff!!

Someone once asked me to help him buy an Apple TV back to Singapore from my USA trip. He intends to pay me back but it's truly one of the most buay paiseh requests I've ever gotten wtf. Firstly... You are troubling me to go to an Apple store, which I have to go search for on a map. And I have to bother Mike to drive me there and I don't even want anything from the Apple store - neither does Mike.

Secondly the fucking TV is so big... My luggage is already bursting... How the fuck can he request for so much luggage space for me?! PLUS IT'S HEAVY. Fujifilm Instax, I've had it for a couple years. Mulberry had such a cute idea for their pool party, each lounge's table had it's own camera and they provided all the film you could want. Whoever does their events needs to be heartily patted on the back.

Everything! The completeness of rowling's imagination with very few loopholes. There are almost no characters I find boring or dislike, which is very unusual. How the one last secret of snape shocked me to my very bones when it came out. The amazing friendship. The intriguing HP world and how it ties in with ours. The writing is easy to read yet flowing very well and each book is consistently good. It's very funny and very smart, which is rare. How dumbledore is so wise and how hermione is so smart. It has always been said that we should be smart, be hardworking, be talented... But the book has brought the importance of being courageous into the limelight. I find that very commendable. I always thought Rowling was just spouting pc crap when she kept saying love is the most important all the way till book 5 when sirius dead and voldy could not possess harry. And when snape's secret was revealed, too. She could not have proven her point better.
