Currently shinysearch.com will auto-detect your country (based on your IP address). With this it will redirect to the appropriate country specific google search and it also use it to customize the links in the top menubar.

Instructions to remove shinysearch homepage in Internet Explorer
1. Open up the Internet Explorer program.
2. From the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen, choose "Internet Options...".
3. Find and click the "General" tab.
4. Delete the contents in the "Address" field, then type the website address you want as homepage (http://www.google.com )
5, Click the "OK" button. -

We think the images available in google are lame. Also with shinysearch you can have your own custom logo and one click links to top websites.
