      an update to the software running the site broke both it and &tc., but i've been too busy with work and school to take the time to figure out how to fix it. hopefully i'll be anle to get them up soon. thank you for coming by~ <3

      there's a couple of different places i usually go to. (:

      for one, when i'm in tokyo, i always stay the the ryokan kangetsu. it's a little out of the way (not so much that it causes problems), but there's a fabulous one-man italian restaurant nearby, the outdoor bath is lovely, and i found out later it was where they filmed a scene in tvxq's tokyo holiday drama thingy. XD

      there's a fan goods shop about halfway down takeshita-dori, on the left and up some stairs, that always has a ton of used jpop goods. i've picked up a bunch of older w-inds. con stuff and photos there even though they mostly carry je things.

      in osaka there's a idol photo shop that i've been to enough that the owner recognizes me and shows me the new w-inds. photos when i go in. ^^;

      i also like to try to go out to chiba and eat at the chinese restaurant run by aiba's family. the food is yummy and his mom is super sweet.

      every time i walk by the osaka shinsaibashi apple store i laugh. :x

      and for some reason i end up going to the subway in the mall underneath kyoto station every trip whether i'm actually doing something in kyoto or not. mmm, potato wedges. i keep hoping the boulangerie on the other side of the mall will have strawberry pan again but i'm always disappointed. ;~;

      an amount that i don't even want to think about. i'm already dying to go back to japan this summer between oe ok rock, w-inds., and kry. if tvxq suddenly came back it might just be the last straw. :(

      as much as i love tvxq and fully admit that they are better musically, i always have and always will love w-inds. more. and i can honestly say that lawsuit or not, my answer would be the same.

      that's a hard one... T_T

      i think they're about even at this point. initially i'd liked ryohei more because of his dancing and general random dorkery (and his friendship with ryu), but then keita sort of box-smiled and towel-threw and spazzed his way into my heart.

      in some ways i don't want to like keita as muh because he IS the face of w-inds. and it bothers me that he gets so much more exposure than the other two. at the same time, ryuryo don't seem to mind, even if the trio doesn't seem as close as they used to be. not that we'll ever really know what's going on behind the scenes. :(

      to be completely honest (and shallow), the first video of theirs i saw was kirei da and he's absolutely gorgeous in that (and i have a thing for boys with long hair). as i learned more about the group, the more i loved his personality, his quirkiness, his voice, his musicianship, his dancing, his ridiculous sense of fashion and ability to make just about anything look good.

      oddly enough, before i got into jpop, istarted listening to jrock and went on a random download spree. it wasn't until a year later that i realized one of the songs that had gotten the most play was actually ryuichi's solo from the 2004 tour.

      the thing that absolutely clenched it was seeing them live. on the dvds it's hard to tell because of the size of the venues and the camera angles, but when he's on stage he really tries to interact with the audience, waving and making eye contact with as many people as he can, all with a look of complete wonder at times. it's enthralling. :)
