In what way are you better off today than you were five years ago?
I live in the coolest city ever with my future husband @shaneharter (who I didn't even know 5 years ago!). Life is pretty great :-)

Why can't I give a smile to a smile? That would be awesome.
Well, think about it this way:
If you can give a smile to a smile, you can give a smile to a smile to a smile.
Which means that you can also give a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile.
Which leads to a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile.
If you've followed along so far, you’d have guessed that the next step is giving a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile.
Which is really just a step before a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile to a smile.
And this, dear Julia, is making my head hurt just by writing it. So imagine having to write the code for it.
You don’t want to give a headache, do you?
ps: yeah, that’d be awesome… if you like to smile, hmmm, there MIGHT be something new on Formspring very soon… -
You can extend the length of a free trial software by pushing back the date on your computer.
This trick has not worked since 2002

Uh where do I live?!?!?!? *falls asleep at 83 Proof*
Listen very carefully, Tim! You have to get out of there now! Follow my directions. Stand up and leave the building. Be quiet about it, and don't run! Running is the worst possible thing you could do! Casually walk ten blocks in the northern direction. By this time, they will probably realize you're onto them! Keep your cool! Very soon you will come upon a parking lot. Find the red chevy impala. The doors will be unlocked. The key is in the center console, and you should have a full tank of gas. Drive westward. Once you go through six stoplights, make the first right, and parallel park the car. Get out. Go up to the first man you see on the sidewalk. He should be wearing a brown sweater. Ask him if he has seen Charlene. He may give you weird looks, but this is all a part of the act. He will be testing you, so be persistent until he answers. He will give you the secret coordinates of the next place you need to go. Get back into the impala and follow the man's directions if you want to live! Someone will explain everything to you once you get there...just keep a lookout for the people in green uniforms, don't stop for cops (especially if you know you were driving the speed limit), and be weary of motorcyclists...be careful! The universe depends on your safe arrival...

Do you fall asleep easily?
I used to have to wake up and deliver newspapers BEFORE getting on the school bus at 6:30 AM sharp. The bus ride took a full 90 minutes because of a compromise the city made with the parents of children who attend private school. They basically said, "we will bus your kids but they aren't gonna like it." We did not like it.
Most mornings I would climb on the bus and get a few minutes of blissful rest before a pair/trio of extremely loud middle school girls climbed on around 6:55. We would beg them to stop screeching but they refused. Eventually I learned to tune out even the most obnoxious screeches and I was able to get an additional 90 minutes of sleep on the bus every morning.
This experience has left me with the ability to fall asleep basically anywhere at any time if I am tired. This is extremely useful when travelling or when you find yourself in unorthodox accommodations. So thanks, screeching middle school girls, for teaching me how to sleep even under the most stressful conditions. -
What country do you want to visit?
Austria! I traveled through on a train when I was studying abroad, but didn't get to stop. I would LOVE to experience Vienna...

What's the most inspirational movie you've ever seen?
Saw Jeff, Who Lives at Home this weekend and it was surprisingly inspiration. I highly recommend!

Are there any normal life experiences that cause you great anxiety even though you know they shouldn't? For example, being in any seat but the driver's seat when in a car and I'm instantly having an anxiety attack, no matter how much I trust the driver.
Packing for vacations makes me sooo stressedddd. What if the weather is drastically different than forecasted? What if these shoes give me a blister?? What if I forget my hairbrush???

What do you wish you did on a more regular basis?
Express my gratitude.
-
Do you have a favorite Blink-182 song?
You mean besides ALL OF THEM? I'd have to go with Hold On...

Why are you so whatever the way you are?
The Area, 1986, 1997, synthesizers, adas polo\koshary (emphasis on the crispy fried onions), literature, light breezes, heavy snows, Jim Henson, ice cream, sweaters in every conceivable form (but especially "the Cosby"), Mr. Rogers, Nick at Night, Cheers (heavy influence from Roger Rees and Ted Danson), raised by an economist, an artist, a teenager, and given far too much slack on my leash.
Not to mention fiction, television theme songs, NOFX, fruit baskets, and cereal.
I'm pretty sure these things are the core of my being (whatever I am.) -
What's something that many people fear that doesn't scare you at all?
Snaked. My brother always had snakes as pets when we were growing up so I'm used to them!
-
What are your top favorite or treasured designer bags?

What do you consider are the finer things in life that you enjoy?
I'm a sucker for designer purses

Do you have artwork/pictures you display at home? What are they of?
Lots of pictures and lots of artwork, but not enough yet!
My hallway is filled with pictures of mine and @st3ck3l's family. I'm working to build this collection with picture of us as little kids and hopefully more pictures of our families.
In our living room we have some really awesome prints that we've collected. Including a print of a honey badger and a beard poster.
In our dining room we have a wall dedicated to California artwork. We're both born and raised in California and we've collected awesome California art to put on the wall. We have one more print waiting to be framed and hung up and we also have awesome old maps of San Francisco that I've found and I want to print out and hang up. Also, Curtis has some great shots of the Port of Oakland that will probably find their way up there as well.
Basically, I've had a lot of fun hang up artwork in my house. I think it makes our house feel great. Plus, my favorite part is I've reserved the bedroom to be a blank canvas. I want to make artwork to decorate the walls with. Since we can't paint in our apartment I've been trying to come up with creative ways to decorate the walls. I've got a great idea for a sewing project brewing right now. -
What humbles you?
My mom when she gives a little speech after winning our golf club's women's championship. The first thing she says is how much she enjoys playing with her competitors and witnessing their talents. She thanks the greens-men for making the course so beautiful and the pro shop for their support. Then she thanks dad for following her when she plays. I hope this year she can do another winning speech without crying and actually owning up to the fact that she is a fucking amazing golfer and not someone who gets lucky. (I mean, I LOVE YOU MOM)
