Hey lovely, you sound like an amazing girl and there are going to be so many guys that will like you for who you are. I was heartbroken around your age when the same thing happened to me -- the guy I liked started going out with my best friend. I know how you feel. It definitely hurt seeing them together and I let myself get really upset about it, which I should not have done! I beat myself up and told myself there was something wrong with me because he didn't like me -- but that wasn't true. Not everyone will like you and sometimes you don't know why, but it NEVER means there is anything wrong with you. Certain people gravitate towards certain people and we can never know exactly why.

Chances are, this boy's relationship is not going to last -- high school relationships rarely do. When they break up, you might have your chance -- or he just might not have feelings for you. But don't let that affect you, it happens to everyone! Guys can be weird creatures, but hey, aren't we all! You're beautiful and smart (listen to your relatives!), and you're going to like other guys that will feel the exact same way about you. Don't make the same mistake I did and let yourself get upset -- just move on, go with the flow, and trust that if things are meant to be, they will be. Hope it helps :)
