i don't have friends.

usually my room. but, in the summer.. at night i'll sit outside on my deck stairs and write and look at the stars. it's very comforting.

this is such a hard question.. because.. people always concentrate on the things that they don't like about themselves.
i guess i just like my ability and desire to get to know myself. like.. to learn from the stupid things (and people) of my past and move forward. i don't know.. it sounds simple, but there are a lot of people who never get to know who they are and then when they're in situations where they have to help themselves (like, getting over a break up, having a fight with someone, etc) and they never know what to do to make themselves feel okay.

the usual confusion and teenage angst that comes with being seventeen.
i just want to get away from everything.

well, on my tumblr.. i wrote this post about me moving far far away.. and how i'm excited because i truly hate orangeville. and, uhm.. someone i guess.. didn't like that so they commented anonymously saying "i live in the exact same town as you, it's the best town, actually. if you're not a bitter bitch. where else can you have the feeling of family almost everywhere you go there? the people there are amazing, and geunine. maybe you should just surround yourself with the right people. or, like i said, maybe you just hate it because youre a bitter bitch." LOL. i laughed.

i love the warm toasty feeling of christmas..
being beside the fireplace and it smelling like gingerbread and the christmas tree. and all the lights.
i hate the cold.. but i like the toasty-ness of christmas.

well, i go to school some times! i get the assignment when it's given.. and, say.. we have a week to do it- i'll finish it in the first day so i don't have to go to class for the rest of the days. i plan this out very well.. anything i can do to get out of going to class for a day!
at home, i sleep.. a lot- but aside from that, i will just kinda sit around and draw or write or do something creative and quiet. it might sound boring to you.. but i'm quite a hermit, so i enjoy it. :)

i'm nearly 18 and they just kind of look at it like.. i'm old enough to make decisions for myself.

everyone should stop fighting and sit around and play guitar and eat chocolate covered strawberries together.

i wrote a rant like this on my blog last night.
when i see people who are really close to me drunk or stoned, it makes me sick to my stomach. i don't really understand why. i find it disgusting and pathetic and it just makes me mad. i can’t help it.
how can i willingly watch someone lose such control over themselves when they’re already perfect to begin with?
how can i willingly watch someone parade around like an idiot.. slurring their words and doing idiotic things?

No. I've never considered myself straight edge.. even when i technically was. I drank for the first time when I was sixteen.. and I liked it. I drank for a bit after that until I realized it's simply not my thing. I'll still drink a cooler every now and then- or maybe drink on my birthday.. but overall, it's just not my scene.
As for my opinion on straight edge kids- I'm not sure. You might some that are like 'yeah, i'm straight edge.' done. But then you meet some who are like 'omg, xstraightedgeforlifex, i hate you for not being straight edge because it's the only way to live!!1!' I think those kids are just ignorant. They're just as bad as the kids who criticize you for not drinking.

don't get me wrong.. if you like parties- then enjoy them!
