Talk to me about animes or not-animes at all

Apologies for the long delay in replying. I watched the episodes raw, so sadly there are no subtitles. However, the ones I saw also had a Cantonese dub track so if you can understand that language you might be better off.

Do you mean character or what? If so, Kagura.

They still need to finish off the original Genshiken in anime form, so I think it would be a while.

I can't point you to any particular sites, but I can say something about how I started. I basically began looking online to see what's out there, and initially found a couple like Tsunacon and Abunaicon (though I've never been to the latter). From there I started following their respective twitter accounts, which also exposed me to other related events as well. I've never been to any conventions in Belgium or Luxembourg (do they have any in Luxembourg?), but I get the feeling twitter would also be helpful there.
Some twitters to follow, at least in the Netherlands:
http://twitter.com/tsunacon
http://twitter.com/jpopfoundation
http://twitter.com/abunaicon
http://twitter.com/StiNishicon
If you're interested in yaoi and yuri, there's also http://twitter.com/yaycon
I also hear there are a couple of good conventions in Germany, though I've never been.
As I am someone who doesn't speak any of the Benelux languages, and given your question I am assuming you do), you'll probably have a better chance of finding out further information. Good luck! -
I'm well aware of the limitations on myself and how at the end of the day just looking at what you enjoy is plenty enough, but as someone who enjoys knowing about trends and history in manga, and someone who wants to see how it is developing, I have to sometimes go beyond my comfort zone, though fortunately my comfort zone is pretty wide.

Sorry for taking so long to answer this, but Smile is a pretty good place to start because of how fun the characters are, and is somewhat like a more refined Yes Precure 5. Also keep in mind that if you live in the US, all of the original Pretty Cure is available on crunchyroll.com so it won't take much to check it out.
I do think Heartcatch is by far the best for a variety of reasons, but all of them are similar in a lot of ways, and all are decent gateways into the franchise. -
The length of my legs relative to the rest of my body.

I can't remember at all. It was probably a concert at Otakon though.

Maybe mango lassi?

I think I answered this before, but Tropius. I grow bananas on my neck and then eat them.
-
Grew up using them, so yes. I can only use them with my right hand though.

I remember getting to this part at like 2am in the morning as a kid. The music made it feel so intense! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-JqI3_aAec

I like it a lot, where is it from?

I think it would indeed be worth his while indeed, as I feel like he doesn't have anything particularly against magical girl shows, and the writing in Heartcatch is a lot stronger than the early seasons.

I certainly enjoy cooking, but I don't know if I'm a good cook. Sometimes I feel like ingredients are so good that cooking is kind of like cheating.

I have.
