I just found about forty floppy disks from when I was a kid. I'm copying the files from these to my computer with the only quasi-functional floppy reader in this house.
A lot of random Disney, Broadway and Syd Barrett MIDI files are in here, as aretwo random Masonic discs with Anna and my pictures on them, and the revised Chronicles of the Pridelands (the DEFINITIVE Lion King fanfiction back in the day -and I'm almost hoping this holds up now that I'm reading it as an adult). But most of the files were MS Paint drawings, stories and scripts Anna and I had been working on between 1998 and 2003.
I kind of love this. -
The one that was in the alps fighting grizzly bears - he used his magical fire breath, and saved the maidens fair.

I will most likely vote for Barack Obama again, when the time comes.

I'm swiping this because I also want to see the other answers, too, because I totally need a better system. I like Jill's author's answer, I think I should try that.
Things usually begin on random post-it notes, and when I was in school, they were usually margin doodles, or I'd keep another sheet of paper under or next to the one I was supposed to be working on, and wrote on that. They all end up in a pile, then a large folder, and then, when I need space, transferred to a Word document, and labeled "Notes" with the date. From there, I sort them into different ongoing projects folders. Or,when I'm already on the computer, notes are taken in Notepad as they happen, and then sorted similarly into the folders. If I find images or other inspiring things, they also go into their respective places, as well.
The thing with digital files, though - and now because of my multiple laptop failures, it's all on external flash memory, on a somewhat sketchy drive. If something were to happen to that, or once the memory starts to wear, it would be gone. I get paranoid about any sort of digital storage. -
I wonder how many people will get upset if I answered "Let It Be?" I do love Let It Be, regardless of what people say.
Hah, but in all honesty, it's The White Album, though I think Revolver is their most solid offering (with Sgt. Pepper coming in as a close second, though it really has become cliche to answer with that one). And the Abbey Road medley never fails to make me tear up by the time they reach 'The End.' -
When I had a summer animation course for the Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth many years ago, the theme for that year was 'palindromes.' (Other years have included SPAM, Orange, Monkeys, the Starburst Challenge, and the Almighty Bead).
So I have a shirt with about fifty of these on it. This question has inspired me to dig it out, again. -
Yo - banana boy. Do your research.

Now, this is just me nitpicking at this point, but I like the 'actually,' as if he was this shining, perfect guy, when he famously wasn't. Look up the "lost weekend," for example. Or his relationship with his first son. It's sad, but he'd been in very dark places over the years.

And then Formspring's new system inadvertently promoted one of the most pervasive and persistent spammers on the site and we all went home.

Kali had to be put down today.
Why do animals have to get so old so quickly? -
My current avatar is me, as a monster. A big, orange, fluffy checker-winged monster, with the usual mandolin, band geekery, and rainbow bracelets. It was drawn by the wonderful @sfemonster, who is an amazingly talented artist, a wonderful human being, and one of my favorite people I've never actually met. He has a link to his dA account on that Formspring, so go check out the art!

A few of my characters and a few of my friends' characters have appeared, and they've acted completely in-character - though that's more suggestion and exposure to them rather than anything weirder.
I had a dream-friend when I was little - just this little girl that would play with me in my dreams in an otherwise identical house, in dreams. And one night when I was about six, I dreamed that she was suddenly sad, and told me she had to go. We hugged after playing in the dream, I woke up...and subsequently never dreamed of her again. I was quite sad about that.
I've dreamed certain people that I had been SURE I'd dreamed about before, but I never can be sure that that particular certainty is true, or part of the dream itself. -
There's a stretch of road that had been a recurring dream of mine that I've had years before actually coming upon this stretch of road (though I'm thinking that I might have been there as a very small child, because there's nothing really special in particular about this road). I've had one precognitive-seeming dream about my little cousin, as well.

My sister and I have had identical dreams on the same evening, before.

I don't follow you. I think Circle was the one who smiled at this question.
Suddenly there's a whole other set of bizarre questions in my inbox and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that.
