When I started, I was sure I'd end up in games development. And I've had my chance at that, but opted instead to go into web development. I now work in primarily database design and web applications, but am also attending UofA's Eller MBA program to expand my business knowledge... Fun stuff!

      5. The Undertaker
He's been wrestling about as long as I've been watching. He's had his high points with Paul Bearer and more recently as the holder of the infamous WrestleMania streak. He's had his low points (*cough* American Bad Ass *cough*). But overall, he's maintained a position of dominance, and has been part of some of the most memorable moments in WWE History, from the Hell in a Cell Match vs. Mankind, to this year's retirement match vs. Shawn Michaels...

      4. Hulk Hogan
The man who paved the way for the modern professional wrestler. Hulk Hogan wasn't a technically talented guy. But he was big, and he could talk the talk on the microphone. He made a career out of cutting promos and doing ridiculous things to get the crowd amped up. I have to have him on this list because there's a good chance I'd have never started watching if I didn't take his vitamins as a kid, while watching cartoons that starred him and Cindy Lauper.

      3. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Stone Cold defined the "Attitude" era of WWE. He drew in the blue collar, and heck, even the white collar workers who dreamed of sticking it to "the man". When Austin kicked Vince in the junk, it was as if we all were kicking authority in the junk. He did what he wanted to do, said what he wanted to say, and drank what he wanted to drink. Austin is the reason WWE was able to develop characters like DX and ultimately take over the business, sending Ted Turner running for the hills..

      2. The Rock
If not for The Rock, I don't know if I ever would have been interested in the "other" side of pro wrestling. The side of sports entertainment where we don't just cheer for the good guys and boo the bad guys. The side who wants to know what's going on in the locker room, and what the writers are thinking. Seeing The Rock transform into what he became, both as a heel and as a face over the course of his career, made me want to know about the men behind the characters. He was THE most charismatic man to ever grab a microphone and he was able to back it up when it came to the physical stuff. Not sure if we'll ever see another one like him. Hopefully we'll get to see him in the ring again one day, even if for just one night...

      1. Chris Jericho
He's revolutionized what it is to be a heel in professional wrestling. From his feud with Greenberg (I mean, Goldberg), to his in ring reading of his 1004 holds (which one upped Dean Malenko's measly 1001), he's gone on to the highest distinction in WWE as the first unified heavyweight champion. I don't know if I can do the man proper justice, but Chris Jericho is undoubtedly the most intelligent heel to ever be in the business. He is the reason that the current generation of WWE Superstars will produce acceptable replacements. Guys like The Miz and Dolph Ziggler are being created by Jericho to rise up and seek stardom. He has had a hell of a career (both in ring and out - if you get the chance, see a Fozzy show live), and he will continue to have an impact for years to come, whether he's still in the business or not...

Glad you asked! I started with no knowledge of computer programming. In high school, I taught myself how to write a text based RPG on my TI-83 calculator, but that was pretty much it. They do a good job there of introducing you to the concepts, and they have a great program called "Section Leaders" - those guys will be your best friends as you start out, and they'll gladly help you through anything you don't just "get" off the bat.

I believe the program has shifted from JAVA to C#, which is a great starting point. From there, you can choose to go in depth with C, web development, or the more intricate research topics (algorithms, automata, etc).

Fun people, great faculty, I highly recommend it! Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be glad to elaborate..

That is the question, or so I've been told..

To be honest, I don't really know the context of that quote, but if it is truly a question - then my answer is most definitely "to be" - go out there and do what you want to do! Even if we don't quite understand the purpose of our existence, we can still make the most of it.

I think I have to make this decision by coming up with the show that I could watch over and over as a series and never really get tired of: Ed.

It's a story of guy chases girl, girl chases guy, Michael Ian Black does something way off kilter, guy gets girl, things become awkward, but in the end, things just work out.

As I wrote this, I had about a dozen different characters, and I settled upon one uniting factor: ridiculousness. I have an appreciation for ridiculous ridiculous people, especially in my TV shows.

      In no particular order:

      * Barney (How I Met Your Mother) Legen.. Wait for it.. dary!
      * Ross (Friends) We are sooo over. *fake sobbing* FINE BY ME!!
      * Jean-Luc Picard (Star Trek TNG) Actually, I just appreciate his sense of reason and logic. Oh, and this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bgcq8Bgrbs4
      * Seth Cohen (The OC) Celebrates Christmakkuh with a viewing of Over the Top.
      * Vince McMahon (WWE) At his best when he's the villain, he's got a swagger that you just can't compete with.

I do. And I'm glad I can say that. Jobs 1 and 2 out of college were strikes 1 and 2. I have a job where I get to do a variety of things, I'm always learning, and I'm respected. There's a lot to learn, and a lot I'm yet to accomplish, and I'm thankful for that.

Technically, it runs. It's just not safe, and needs some adjustment. I'm going to swing by SVC next weekend to get her taken care of!

I met Shaquille O'Neal at the Jack-in-the-Box at the Londen Center in Phoenix. Once I stopped staring at his gigantic shoes, I went over and said hi. We talked a little bit about Twitter and I wished him luck with the Suns!
