Since going vegetarian/partially raw, my husband feels he is not getting enough protein. Does Matt have different protein requirements than you, and if so, can you give suggestions? Thank you so much!
We never really think about it. If you are vegetarian (still eating dairy and eggs)...there is pretty much NO WAY you are not getting enough protein. Even if you are a vegan...it's highly unlikely that you would be deficient in protein.
What he is probably feeling is an after effect of the brainwashing of the dairy and meat industries...who pay LOADS of money convincing everyone in America that protein only comes from those two sources.
Protein is available in so many ways...beans, lentils, grains, greens, and more. Greens actually provide more usable protein oz. for oz. than meat does. Spirulina is a perfect example of that.
Bottom line, I'm sure he's getting enough. Even eating a lot of raw. However, the key...when eating raw, he does need to exercise to maintain total health.
There are some great videos/info out there...Google the terms "raw food and protein" and you will find a lot more...

How did you alter your diet for pregnancy? What were your main protein sources? Does Bella eat more protein than you? Did Floradix turn your teeth grey?
This should answer your food questions:

Bella eats lots of eggs, beans, and goat cheese.
No, the Floradix didn't turn my teeth grey.
where did you get your skirt from that you are wearing in your newest blog post? It is SOOOO cute!!
It's the Be Creative skirt from www.onelovecreations.etsy.com
Why no pets?
I cannot even imagine adding one more thing to our lives right now! :) Two kiddos in a small space is enough excitement. Plus, we have to fly home and on business trips at least twice a year, sometimes more, and we would have to find something to do with them.
Not saying that you can't happily have pets on the road. It's just not for us.
Which brands of supplements do you currently take/like?
I'm taking Vitamin Code Raw for Women. Nordic Naturals DHA fish oil. Probiotics. Vitamin D drops. Calcium. ...don't know the brands off the top of my head...
Did you ever have a hard time leaving your families when you first started traveling? And do you ever feel like your missing out only seeing your families on major holidays now that you are traveling full-time?
We actually see our families MORE now than we did before we were traveling. We spend several months with them in the summer time/fall, plus a month or more in the holiday season, and they fly into various locations around the country to see us.
I noticed on your flickr that you have a Vitamix blender. Do you find that it is worth the cost? What do you like about it?
We LOVE our Vitamix. Definitely worth the cost because I would burn out so many of the cheaper blenders in less than a year, which means I would be spending the same amount of money buying cheap blenders when I could just buy the Vitamix. It blends so fast and so smooth...and I can make twice the amount of smoothie at one time.
We are affiliates, so if you decide to buy one...it would be great if you would use the link from our site :)

Would you ever consider a lotus birth?
It's not really something I'm interested in...but I haven't done much research on it either.
What did you eat a lot of during prgnancy and what gave you the most energy?
Greens! Lots and lots of greens. And Floradix iron supplement...that stuff is amazing for added energy (not just during pregnancy).

when you guys weren't on the road, it seems like you were able to find the coolest landlords that allowed you to paint and make changes to the house you rented. How did you find landlords like that? Was it luck or did you call around?
We mostly used Craigslist...and word of mouth. We just didn't rent it if we couldn't paint :)
What kind of yoga do you practice?
I tend to like Vinyasa (flow) just because I've done that the most. I've tried several other types, but that one just feels best.
Do you have any pets on the road? If not, would you ever consider getting any?
No and no :)
Do you know if it's possible to line dry clothes during the wintertime?
I've been told that you can "freeze dry" them on the line. They will dry, but will be frozen solid! People do it though...I've never tried. :)
What's your opinion of The Duggar family on TLC?
I guess I don't really have an opinion...I've only seen the show once or twice and from what I can see, they are kind and gracious people who are doing what they think is best for their family.
Hey Sara! I love seeing pics of you and your family as you travel. I've noticed in a few pics that Bella's beautiful smile includes some kind of mouth gear. Does she have a retainer? And do you guys do/use traditional dentistry while on the road?
She has several crowns in the back. We go to the dentist as we can afford...
