A long time ago, before I moved to LA I was at a train station and a little kid sent his dad over to me.

Go crazy. That's the best advice, cause if you want to be a professional fiction writer, you're basically fucked. Basically. You really need to research the business end of it 4 times as much as the aesthetic/technical end.
