In bed. It's a sad reality that I rarely know when I'll get to sleep on a given day.

Movies (this is tough): Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Where the Wild Things Are & (500) Days of Summer because they all feature child-like optimism. Even though they all have very sad parts they remind me of what it means to be in this life.
Books (this one is tougher): 1984, House of Leaves & The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy because (respectively) it's my favorite book, I'd apparently have to be stranded for the rest of my left to get through it, and it's one of the few books that can make me laugh out loud. -
I've given up soda for the year. As a kid I liked Pepsi (even though I called all sodas "Coke"). I'd like to think my tastes have refined since then. Coke is a manly man's soda.

Rush because I love them, but I'll never be even close to as good as Neil Peart. Alternatively: Nine Inch Nails for obvious reasons. Maybe I'd be best suited to one of those anamatronic bands at Chuck-E-Cheese.
