I like to get out of the house and randomly stroll around through the city until I find something interesting enough to stay focused on, but I also like to lock myself in with ten blankets, coffee (or something stronger) and perhaps a movie or a book or so. I also like the fact that there's no one around to tell me I should put my pants (or skirt) on.

Every girl has a photography phase, right? I also had one, but after my camera went to camera-heaven I never really picked up on it anymore, I don't know why. I use my phone's camera to capture the most remarkable things I come across, and when on vacation I carry around a disposable camera sometimes, but that's about it.

I've had a lookbook account but I removed it when I didn't feel like it anymore. Besides, the overall style of the lookbook users is almost the same as it was a few years ago and I completely lost my interest in the site. (That, and I can't stand how everyone has thinner legs than I have, oh shame on me.)

Music makes me both happy and sad. Same as for love. And alcohol.

It sure is a whole lot of fun to live in Amsterdam! Because I easily get lost I often manage to find myself in places I've never been before, and after more than a year I still discover great new venues to hang out very frequently ;-) In the summer there are also a lot of great festivals and other events that are worth to check out. As for the people, I can't say much, most of the residents have moved here from other cities (just like me) and all have their own habits and standards, I barely meet any 'original' Amsterdam residents. What I can say is that you better don't count on other people here, not that they're not nice, but to me the city is, compared to other cities, much more about the individuals then about the group, you're basically on your own here.

No, unfortunately not, I wish I had though, it's seems like such a nice country. Last year, I was about to go to Venice for a while, it was all sorted out, but then everything went terribly wrong...

I have a strong aversion against 'plans', maybe also because I'm very bad at planning, and afraid of the future sometimes, but mostly because I like to have fun spontaneously. I do plan a few things, because it's also good to have something to look forward to, but most of the time I like to be surprised! So no, no plans yet, although I just bought a bottle of absinthe because I've been willing to try it for a long time, so who knows, maybe I'll find a victim to share it with ;-)

It was quite good, overall. I haven't done much, which is ok on sundays, particularly with this sunny weather ;-) I have read a little Bukowski, watched a movie by Woody Allen, slept in the sun, made lasagnette for dinner and listened to Andrew Bird's new record (I saw him performing the whole album live last friday!). I plan on watching a few episodes of Six Feet Under later this evening.

I'd be everything! I don't think I can pick something specific. To me, art is something to express your feelings with, things you can't just 'say'. I can't express my feelings with just paintings, or just writings, while there is so much more I can do. Different feelings need to be expressed in different ways! I want to paint. I want to make conceptual art. I want to write poetry, write chansons, write for adults, write for children. I want to dance. I want to make films. I want to make love for the sake of art. Being an artist is much more a lifestyle than a job ;-)

Something called Media and Communication, but I'm not so sure if it still fits me. I'd probably switch to Cultural Heritage one day. I also want to do Cultural or Literary Studies, or something with languages. I took extra courses in Modern Literature a while ago. In my wildest fantasies I'm some sort of artist, but my study focuses a lot on journalism, and now I'm just writing down things that already exist, while I'd rather create my own reality or at least learn about how others did.
