Oh wow, this is actually a pretty tough one. I guess I'd have to choose something I'm really digging at the moment. I've been in a Texas-Swing phase lately and just recently really started digging on Junior Brown. He's a wicked guitarist and has a crazy deep singing voice. I actually found him on an episode of SpongeBob Squarepants - he was doing the music for a scene where Sandy was missing Texas. I suppose if I had to pick one track I'd go with Too Many Nights in a Roadhouse.

Contrary to what many people think I am not Russell Crowe. Well, I am. I'm not the handsome one. Wait... Yes I am. I am not the Australian one. Or an actor. I'm a tech-guru, super-Dad, freelance writer from Sweet Home Alabama. And my only experience in film (other than being a movie junkie) is taking home movies of my kids. Sorry to let 'ya down. I do happen to know my almost as handsome Australian actor friend can be found at the following Twitter address - @russellcrowe. How would I know such things? Easy - I gave him that account. Enjoy!

Recovery is an everyday battle. I use to think that whole AA crowd with their "one day at a time" routines had no idea what they were talking about - but boy was I wrong. It is absolutely one day, one hour, even one minute at a time. But life sober is excellent and whenever a craving hits me I just have to look around at all I have and remember that it could all be gone if I make one poor decision.
As for the ex, we have finally gotten to a much better place. I'm a big enough boy to admit it took so long to get to previously mentioned place because I made it difficult. I suppose there is a big difference between being the leaver versus leave-e. (Is that even a word?) It took a lot of soul searching to find myself again after she left. I had to have some answers. And that took a lot of looking truthfully in the mirror at myself and the mistakes I had made. Thankfully sobriety helped a lot on that road and I finally got there. In fact, things have gotten so great my son has moved in with me full-time and I'm back to being Super-Dad - a role that means more to me than anything in the World. It's truly amazing the difference a year can make.

The same thing I try and do everyday; make the most of every minute and second I have with my children, friends and family. I've seen it first-hand lately, life can be so normal and routine one second and then almost gone the next. I know it sounds silly, but just slowing down and enjoying each moment and breath of air, that's what I'd like to do. Perhaps take a little time to devote towards mindfulness, self awareness, time for thought; the things that get lost in this hustle and bustle World of ours. In fact I will do that tomorrow. Thanks, Formspring.me!
