uni was a completely new experience - it was research based whereas my previous education in ngee ann poly was not. even though there were times i felt like dying due to the lack of sleep (i.e. being awake for 48 hours), i didn't find it exceedingly difficult as long as i knew what was required in the assignments. one particular course was terrible though, the lecturer was overly demanding and unhelpful, so that affected one of my grades quite a bit. most of them were great though, they usually like it when students are proactive and put in more effort than expected. on a scale of 1-5 on how tough it was, i'd say it was a 3.5.

although staying in australia for two years was pretty cool, i can't imagine myself staying on for longer - mainly because i'd really miss my family and friends here in singapore and i generally feel safer here. plus, it would've been hard to look for a job with my degree in australia - they aren't lacking in arts graduates! otherwise, working in aus would've been awesome though, the work-life balance there is fantastic.

    hope that answers your questions~!
