Because the question is more of a rhetorical advice to reveal the nature of group psychology and blame.
-
Because you believe you have been blessed with comedy.

I'll miss being a big fish in a small pond. But at the same time, I'm looking forward to being rather anonymous.

Why aren't you wearing your Villanova shirt?
If you aren't Edward... um... I'm not wearing it because the design of white letters on a black shirt is too flashy and it hurts my eyes. -
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.

I think that some of the conditions you established aren't always true. You don't always lose friendship by pushing yourself, and you don't always gain companionship by lowering yourself. I suppose there are tendencies for these things to happen, which is what you're asking.
So to answer the question, I say that it can be fairly lonely at the top, but the friendships you have there are more genuine and lasting. You are often very compatible with these people just because you have pushed yourself to a point where there are people just like you.
Yes, I answered this question rather vaguely. Sorry about that. -
Nah... You have to be downright brilliant to even make a dent in any of those problems. Here's a nice xkcd that could explain it.

Sorry that I left a legitimate question sitting for quite a while. I think that I was very cocky and even more shy (is that even possible?) when I was younger. I'd like to think that's improved over the years.

I run track, play drums and bass at my church, and am involved in all the math/science teams at my school.
I also do that honor society, volunteering grind as well. -

Well, I would classify myself as a bit of a skeptic and cynic. I believe that a healthy dose of cynicism is helpful. I also believe that hard work must be coupled with an independent spirit in order for you to "truly" attain success.

I think you may have misinterpreted my response. I don't claim that I know and can perceive everything in this universe. I have a very minimal understanding. However, I can certainly say that my experiences are not simply a "dream".
-
Hmm... Nope I'm pretty sure its real.

I love the internet...
