It's stupid and unhealthy. To me it shows a lack of emotional growth. When people get more in contact with their emotions and start working on their issues, they'll have to let go and talk about how they feel.

Don't have kids, but I wouldn't dress them according to typical gender colours. What if my girl loves blue? Or my boy loves flowers and barbies. Gender is really not so important but I wouldn't like people to say it. It's degrading.
