I'm indifferent. I can see that banning Flash would bring a more optimal interaction on the phones (font scaling, automatic overflow, etc), do wonders to the future of Html5/js, longer battery life, etc. But so much content out there is already in Flash. It's such a shame to not having access to that in these smart new devices.

But Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchDB all runs on Windows. You might want to have a look at RavenDB by Oren Eini. It's a document database just like the others and written in .Net

dari pengamatan aku, tidak banyak posisi available untuk junior position. Perlu diingat bahwa UAE dipenuhi dengan tenaga kerja murah, expatriat dan sisanya lokal.
Tenaga kerja murah di bidang teknologi sepertinya didominasi kawan-kawan kita di India. (sementara perburuhan oleh Pakistan dan servis oleh Filipina).
Para expatriat biasanya mengisi lowongan sebagai spesialis, manajemen atau eksekutif tergantung pengalamannya. Biasanya orang-orang ini sudah punya 4+ years pengalaman kerja.
Untuk junior atau posisi internship biasanya diberikan kepada mahasiswa-mahasiswa lokal. Dapat dimengerti karena UAE sangat ingin mengembangkan orang-orang lokalnya.
Tentunya pasti ada exception to the rule, tapi very far in between. Jangan berkecil hati dan coba liat website seperti dubizzle, monstergulf dan bayt.

despite the awfull name, Windows Phone 7 Series definitely. Not because I'm a Microsoft fanboy, but because it looks fresh! iPhone UI feels kinda...old.
