Who has time for guilty pleasures when I struggle to stay caught up on the greats? The closest I come to this, I guess, is my guilty devotion to both Glee and The Glee Project.

It depends. If I am going for leisure, the beach. If I am retreating to write, I think the mountains would be a lovely hideaway.

I prefer to walk - if possible, that is. Downtown's good for that.

Sunrise. The hues of the colours are amazing - especially after an allnighter. The last summer before university, I stayed up beyond sunrise and watched it from my back deck every day. Now, sunrises remind me of that - freedom, unfettered joy.

With friends, snacks, and a little at-home dance party. It was really nice.

Harry Potter. I grew up with it, and it had fantastic characters and a brilliant world. Hunger Games was very good, but too bleak in the back half for me to truly love it, while Twilight... I'm not the target audience for that series.

I just finished "The Night Shift", by Dr. Brian Goldman. Nonfiction, about the daily life of a night shift ER doctor. Very good, really interesting stuff.
