Holiday season was kinda drab, to be honest.
I didn't fulfill last year's resolution, so I'm not making a resolution this year. -

At the end of the day, 18 months of relatively solid unemployment has given me a new perspective on the whole "You should fire ___" statement.
There are quite a few that could be let go that would bum me out, and it's no use listing them all out. -

Terrible names won't necessarily hold you back. Just look at Dolph Ziggler. A name's just a name. Even if you were Turdy McGee, if you were talented enough, you could move past it.
It's hard to get a good feel on the rookies sometimes. I know instantly if I'll never like someone (Slater, Cannon), but some of them can grow on me after awhile, too. -

Shit, man. That was 2009. No one cares.
Or so WWE would like to believe. Unless they're trying to make us feel nostalgic.
I honestly don't remember. -

Tonight's been one hell of a ride, that's for sure.

You're welcome. I'm not sure what I posted that was funny this morning, unless you were sifting through last night's NXT shenanigans.

I hate to say it's beyond fixing, but it sure seems that way sometimes. If you really want one that works, you're probably going to have to stage a talent raid and hire teams like the Briscoes and the KoW (I'd wet myself). Anything short of something like that happening, I don't see it making a comeback.
-
I'd love it because all signs now point to me being there in person for it. I don't see it happening, though, unless they induct him into the Hall of Fame.

Expect: Kelly and maybe Layla or The Bellas
Want: Honestly? None. I'm totally fine not knowing what they look like completely naked. -

No to both. Diva boob sizes seem to vary depending on how much support the top they're wearing at any moment in time is giving them.
TNA can also be inconsistent, but appears to be hitting its stride right about now. The only thing consistent about TNA is Reaction. It's pretty good. -

We've seen Hunter and Orton go for it, so I'd pass.
I wouldn't want to see Goldberg, Rock, Hardy, Foley, or Austin take a crack at it because I don't think any are at the point where they can carry a solid match for too long.
Swagger and Miz probably aren't ready.
Christian in a main event? Never.
Barruh and Sheamus are the two most likely candidates, but I'm not sold on either in a big ticket match like this.
Cena, Punk, Jericho, and Angle intrigue me the most. -

I think having signature moves is fine. People give Cena a hard time for the 5 Moves of Doom, and while I see where they're coming from, he's not the only one.
Hogan: YOOOU, whip, boot, leg drop
HBK: Forearm, nip up, punches, scoop slam, elbow, Sweet Chin Music (granted HBK does A LOT more other things that make him the best ever in my eyes, just saying that this is a typical match finish)
HHH: Knee, knee, spinebuster, Pedigree (squashes, anyway)
Signature moves are part of a wrestler's identity. Even though I think that someone whose gimmick was that they just did everyone else's moves would probably get pretty over. People would try to guess who they'd copy next. And before you say, "Eugene did that" let me counter with NO, this is TOTALLY different.(I think I stole this idea from kayfabe) -

It's the WWE style. They're going for safety first, I think.
You can attribute part of it to character. Orton is "cold, calculating, and methodical" while Edge is an "opportunist just searching for his opening."
And then, I'd also be going super slow if I was as FRAGILE as Orton or as oldish/injury prone as Edge.
I guess what I'm saying is: yes, yes, and yes. -
I still like my "his leg is probably falling off again" theory better. It's not the total truth, but it's way cooler than having an inner ear infection. We all get those.
-
It was an open challenge that he didn't answer. I assume he's probably battling injuries (he always is) and they're trying to keep his workload light.
-
Yes. Everyone. It's all just varying degrees of hatred. I am a cold and bitter individual.

I think it was a squash match with the potential for a Zeke face turn. He might be better suited as a heel though. Way more potential opponents that way.
-
No. I'd like more of Orton not simply grinning like an idiot and soaking in the cheers he's earned. I like him more as a lone wolf kind of character. He's better when he has an edge about him. But that's just me.
-
I liked that they didn't do the usual thing of pretending that all the good guys are friends. I think he showed a bit of an edge that I haven't seen since he was hitting Sheamus with a chair. I'd like more of that.
-
Technically, no. But he does have the bicycle kick as a finisher, which is pretty much the same thing.
