Yeah, probably. The beer is great and I've never found another country where the food is this good. We probably have one of the best spots on the earth's surface, second to the French. I feel at home here and I'm kinda proud of some things.
I only wished that we would have more interesting natural landmarks and that some people would get a severe mentality shift. I get the feeling that we are the most intolerant people in the world. You also know you're Belgian when you complain a lot but take no action. On the brightside, that's probably why each time both halves of our country fight no one gets hurt something which doesn't apply to eg. Ireland and Spain. -
I'm a big fan of bringing the parts of Belgium closer together, so if it would depend on me I would enable people all over Belgium to vote on whoever they want Walloon or Flemish, to obtain their documents in all three languages and everyone should obligatory get French and Dutch much earlier in school. This would already solve the Brussels-Halle-Vilvoorde issue. In addition I would abolish all governments but the federal government this would also solve the authority issues, as the authorities should only be split between the local governments such as municipalities and provinces and on the other side the federal government.
This would be as it is supposed to be, a country should be one. Multiple languages should be no issue to form a government so that's where I think the current government formation fails miserably. On our side we have Flemish separatists and on the other side we have French separatists hiding under socialist flag, so there's hardly any sanity in these people and hardly any hope to ever get a decent government without possible victims. -
That's solved in the same way you get rid of a loose tooth. You attach a string to it and the other half of the string to a door handle and slam the door shut. That should definitely solve it.

I'd start in New York and travel all across the US to wind up in Los Angeles.
