Assuming all loved ones were safe and sound, my keys, portable hard-drive and i-pod. Music and memories soothe better than anything when all else is lost.

Wow, thanks for the question. Though it's probably highly uncool, I'd have to go with those in Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations with God trilogy. Book 2, in particular, helped bring me back to a place of peace when my dad, with whom I'd shared a close, almost intuitive/telepathic bond, passed. The future seemed overwhelming then - I'd detached from myself in a way - and it spoke to me, reminding me of things I'd always half-way believed till I reached the end and felt safe and confident enough to start dreaming and creating paths for myself again. In contemporary terms, it was my Eat, Pray, Love. These days, I fear less, strive for more and approach life in quite a different manner. =)

Of the two options, mummy would probably be the most preferable. They have a brain with which to come up with deviously frightening pranks, whilst zombies are just mindlessly freaky.

As boring as it sounds, water. It's cool and fresh and nothing else compares. After that, it's a tie between Jasmine and Chrysanthemum tea.

A vampire, please. The new age variety, however - pure of heart and intention and opposed to supping on humans.
