A Lumix or a Canon! Haven't used anything else except those, and Sony cameras from my sister. Sony also has cool features, but I recommend Lumix / Canon.

I'm not well versed in cameras especially the newer models, but I hace a 60D and it has served me well so far :) I suggest go to the store and try the different models out and see what suits you. Consider the size of the camera - usually entry level ones are smaller and more convenient to lug around everywhere. More things to consider are the screen (does it have a swivel feature, etc) the video capabilities (would you eventually want to shoot HD vids?) and the price, of course! :)

Hi omg this is incredibly late, but I only ever use eyeliner. Or the occasional lipstick. I do have mascara and a cheek tint I just bought cause it came in a PAINT TUBE ZOMGS but most of the time I don't really wear makeup because it's too much of a bother hahaha
