You will need to convert your RAW files to a JPEG in order to use actions on them.
-
I have not "officially" confirmed it, however I am personally running all our actions on CS6 on my own system without any issue.
-
The Film Solution Set is our newest.
-
The film Shift actions are no longer available. We do however have our new Film | Solution actions.
-
While batch + is a great tool, I use autoloader to import the jpg files into Photoshop and quickly edit them one by one.
-
This was part of the Film Shift Set, which is no longer available.

No, the pdf workshop includes the PDF guides that are outlined on the boutique site.

We use RedCart and are extremely happy with it. Don't know anything about vend from itdr.

Yes, in conjunction with RAID drives, we create a Blue-Ray copy of our files that is put offsite. I am using a Buffalo Blue-Ray burner and Verbatim disks. The disks are extremely high quality and much more reliable vs a standard DVD.

I never worry about it, just shoot at an iso that works best.

I have been using a tablet for over 10 years, and really for me there are no negatives. Not only does it give you more control, it is much easier on your wrist. Just don't buy a cheap one.

The 35 f1.4 is one of the sharpest lens we have. Amy uses it 90% of the time for most of our portrait sessions, and shoots it wide open the entire time. This image will give you an idea of how it shoots at 1.4 http://www.flickr.com/photos/redleafstudios/5549252018/

I have been using a tablet for over ten years and could not edit without it. If you are going to get one, make sure it is a good one, and not the bamboo model. I personally use a Wacom Intuos 3 Special Edition. If you are buying new, I would suggest a intuos 4. 5.5 x 8.8
