If you have really no idea on what to draw, you can try to follow references: you can find a photography and reproduce it in manga (if its your style ofc), you can also go on posemaniacs.com and try to copy some poses with a character you like, that way you can practice anatomy. :p you can always try to complete memes or participate in contests (they give you some ideas sometimes), you can take requests from others, look at others' artwork, listen to music, watch movies/anime, read manga/comics, etc and get inspired..well if its too much effort, you can just doodle what your hand feels like doodling :p

I dont think so though Dx hmm well I know that the airbrush doesnt look really great in thumbnails, and that thumnbnails of drawings with backgrounds and vivid colours looks better too

Lool me neither I dont have much imagination for backgrounds... Well, you can try to think up some story behind the drawing, its easier to find a background that way. Also you can look at some photography of landscapes to have some ideas :)

To say the truth, linearts arent my forte at all.. And I usually draw my outlines after I finished painting and coloring lol but i can still give you some tips : use the pen tool (its easier), make quick strokes, rotate your canvas to find a comfortable angle for you to draw curves, flip your canvas horizontally to see if you made some anatomy/proportions mistakes.

I recommend any from the brand wacom since they are all good :)
Ive never learnt manga, i guess ive read a lot if them and got accustomed to the style

It's quite simple actually :) you just need to go on your Drawings page, look up the drawing you want to post on DeviantArt, on the top of its thumbnail you should find a Share option. You click on it. Download the SWF file and the thumbnail to your computer. Then, to submit it on Deviantart, you need to choose the category Flash ( I usually put it in Flash/ Animations), upload your SWF file, then they will ask you for the thumbnail of your drawing and follow the other instructions, and that's it :) I hope it helped !
