Unfortunately, no. The Dock doesn't notify anyone of what it's doing. What Quay actually does is intercept clicks in the Dock region and passing them on conditionally. I'll be glad to go into more detail over email...
-
Interesting suggestion; but. A non-trivial amount of CPU time would be consumed by that - currently Quay sleeps until it notices an actual click. Hovering would mean checking the mouse position continuously and also ask the Dock continuously for its icon positions. Probably not worth the convenience...

My layout has been adopted by 10.6, where its name is "US-International(PC)". Just use that. Only built-in layouts can be the default, so that will work for you.

Please send me details about those errors by email? To uninstall, open the Quay app and look for the "Uninstall" menu. Or run the original installer, it also has an uninstall option.

Right, the last version of Mac OS X where XRay worked reliably was 10.4 - as it says on the website, by the way. It's a PowerPC application, so it can't even run on Lion.
Try checking the "permissions" section in the Finder's "Get Info" panel to see why it won't delete properly - email me directly if necessary. -
Not directly. I suppose you could user the Finder's "Get Info" panel on a certain document ("Open With..") to add an application there for all documents like it.
-
You should also get an email with the serial number, and the number is automatically entered for you; you can see it by selecting "Quay is Registered" in the Quay menu. The help email address is, of course, in the "About Quay" window...

Please email me directly so we can have a proper conversation; this space isn't really meant for that. Thanks!
-
You don't need to join the forum to post questions or anything. Just reply to the post corresponding to the last version.

I just tested it here, it works for me. Are you changing the icon? Where is that folder? But, nowadays it's much preferable to drag folders to the Dock directly.

-
Not as such - most XRay functions have long been available in the Finder, anyway; remember XRay was originally written for 10.1.5!
However, a few selected functions will be reincarnated as separate apps for Lion. Please email me with details if you still need some specific XRay feature. -

Bonjour Maryse, .rsrc files are no longer supported - not even in 10.6, I think.
Lion has a "Canadian French (CSA)" keyboard, if that does not work, download Ukelele from http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&id=ukelele, I think it can convert those files for you. -
