Nope. It's all part of our worldwide corporate "creativity through sleep deprivation" initiative.

Well - we think this has good and bad implications. The good news is, citizen journalism wins. The bad news is, citizen journalism generally sucks when it comes to keeping people intelligently informed major national issues. So - the real winner here is NPR. : ) For more on our stance on Demand Media, please see Matt Chandler's blog post: http://raidious.com/tend-your-own-garden-and-thwart-the-content-farms/

You can, first and foremost, be incredibly awesome. If you have accomplished this, please send your resume to IWantToWork@Raidious.com, and someone will get back with you to verify your awesomeness, via our "Awesome Test". Yes, this is a real test that we give to all employees. No, we are not joking. I barely passed.

There are three key things that make us different, and allow us to deliver a range of services specifically designed for the 21st century media landscape that no other firm can offer.
1. Our approach to strategy and planning: Raidious has developed a rigorous approach to integrated content strategy for the distributed web that addresses everything from managing risk in social media to organizing content to content governance, social media moderation, taxonomy and topography, and lots of other key areas that most companies are not even thinking about, but that have a huge impact on your business objectives.
2. Our operational structure: Ad agencies are purpose-built to produce great advertising. Web shops are purpose-built to produce great websites. PR firms are purpose-built to leverage earned media. The way they operate, the way they plan, the way they manage projects, the tools they use - everything about these types of firms is there to support their purpose - which is not social media management, it's something else. Raidious also has a purpose- we are built to produce and manage great content, and that is all we do. Content drives every interaction online - every single one, social or otherwise. At the end of every interaction there is content. We built our business with the intention of managing content for large brands - not just content on their website, but content that is relevant to the brand... whether the brand is producing it, consumers are producing it, or their competition is producing it. Agencies, PR firms, and web shops can't do this. Because they are not designed to.
3. Our staffing: We are staffed with people who make content. Not people who make advertising, not people who pitch PR stories, not people who write code - just content producers and social media managers. Our team consists solely of well-qualified, experienced reporters, producers, editors, and writers. These are folks from CNN.com, ESPN, NPR, and other major news outlets - not junior level copywriters. Our social media managers, online marketing strategists, and platform developers are likewise senior people, with real-world social media experience from efforts like Obama for President.
Because of all this, we can do what no other firm on the planet can do - we can make the content that makes digital marketing work. We make, manage, monitor, moderate and measure digital content in a real-time, distributed environment. No one else can do this for your company.
Hope this helps! : ) -
Would have to go with Seth Godin. Is that geeky?
