i know, it's really hard at first. the answer to your question is that it does stop. but it takes a while. if you feel like you can't handle feeling gross, though, one option is to transition gradually . start by washing it every other day, then every 3, etc. and it will gradually get less and less greasy between each wash. does that make sense? i wash mine like 1x a week now and it's usually a little greasy the last 2 days beforehand but i don't think it's enough that anyone but me notices. then the 2 days after i wash it it's a little bit overly fluffy, and for the 3 days in between it's perfect basically. you can do this.

probably neither? real talk, most likely she thinks you're cool and likes you as a student, but is mostly asking if you wanna discuss the text outside of class. that said, you should definitely discuss the text outside of class, and see if you guys become best friends! tbh it depends a lot on whether you're an enrolled university student or a community member who happened to audit a class – i couldn't tell from your question. if you're the former, she would be risking her entire career if she had sex with you, so. good luck though! i hope the text is something cool.

today i am wearing skinny jeans tucked into boots with a yet-to-be-determined shirt and a cardigan. i think i usually err on the side of dressing too formally for teaching, but really i've yet to find an outfit that feels exactly right, so.

so far my technique has been to assign them to read dumb things written by dumb people because everyone feels comfortable talking about why something is obviously dumb. this may not be objectively the best approach, pedagogically speaking.
