yes there was always pressure from a few ex's to be a different person... i.e "less awkward" "more bubbly" and also i was with someone that wanted to control every aspect of my life... he then went onto apologise for doing this a few years after we were together :P

it's important to stay grounded... with or without religion... so long as he doesn't try to force his religion on me and respects my views... then i have no problem respecting his :)

i do... but each to their own.

of course... i know a lot of people who've had a "rough background" and went on to be top class people at their work :P

everything... i wish i could get rid of the memories but they happened, they exist... as long as they don't affect my present, i don't see a problem :P i'm actually a LOT happier than i've ever been... and i guess my life would have turned out differently if i hadn't went through what i did.

my school was about getting the best grades possible but also the steps taken to get to university/college... so i guess it wasn't all that bad. no one can really prepare you for the rest of your life anyway. only give you as much advice as possible.
