Would you ever attend a rally or sign a petition for a women's right's issue? What about a men's right's issue? [12]

Highly unlikely. Perhaps in the USA with regard to the GOP obsessively trying to control women's sexual habits and reproductive options and the like because that pisses me off something fierce, but apart from that neither sex has any issues pressing enough to warrant such attention from me, at least not in civilised countries. And I'd rather not bother being in uncivilised countries at all. Being shot at hurts, yo.

I'd sign a petition for anything I agreed with. For a rally, I would have to be passionate about it. There are plenty of different women's rights causes, most of which I agree with but a few that I don't--for example, people saying that pornography is a women's rights issue and needs to be outlawed. I don't think it is an issue, women who act in legal porn choose to do so. I don't know much about men's rights issues other than the fact that custody battles are biased towards the mother, which I think is unfair, but as for anything else, I'd have to learn more about it.
There should not even be a womens or mens rights issues..but yes I would attend or sign a petition for both mens and womens rights issue.
Wouldn't it be easier for everyone to get equality if we just forget the terms "women's rights" and "men's rights" and just focus on human rights as a whole?
I can't think of an issue where men are lacking rights. But if someone presents an issue to me with research to back it up, I would consider supporting it.
excuse me, men already HAVE rights.
Yeah, being a woman, I probably would. I'm not getting into my opinions about this, especially since I'm not sure what they are.
Sure... I support women's rights.
And there are no such thing as men's rights. Nobody is trying to take away our rights.End of top responses. View all responses »
