I was actually going to beg you to choose her when Stift said she wasn't going to be one otherwise, so this works out nicely. Where to start...
Thanks to Kilgamayan voicing his displeasure with her persistence, I've been very tempted to crossplay as her ever since. I'd very much like to mess with the annoying Adventure Time people, too. "What time is it?" "ADV-" "IT'S SPRING!"
Anime Boston is in Spring. My birthday is, too. AB actually comes a week after my birthday next year, and if I read the schedule right, a day after I graduate.
I'd like to note how awesome it is when the drum line kicks in during the Perfect Cherry Blossom Stage 4 theme, but having said that so many times now, it seems like that's just something ZUN's good at.
I want to make a boss fight against a giant Lily White in the future. Why? Not just because I like Lily, but because think about what a horrific combination that would be. If you manage to somehow kill, say, Godzilla (it's been done, actually), then it's dead. When Lily gets obliterated, she just comes right back, but is mostly harmless. Combine those and you get something that will destroy everything and can never be stopped by any physical means but a change in seasons. I figure it'd be a decent puzzle-type boss, as flat-out attack would be futile, and there's the amusing oxymoron of a giant fairy.
Speaking of giant Lily, Seo Tatsuya likes to draw that fairly often, it seems. Small (and irritatingly persistent) Lily is still the best fit for her, though.

Admittedly, I also get irritated when she "appers" in Phantasmagoria of Flower View. Lily Black was a nice variation, though. She's supposed to just be cosplaying, but the Lilies show up next to each other in one of the print works.
Come to think of it, The Lilies is a good band name. Apparently it's so good that it's already in use, though.
Admittedly, part of the reason I probably came to like her was rapattu's interpretation, which is pretty far off from the original, but not unfeasible. The evil depictions out there are somehow amusing, too.
She's just trying to tell people that it's spring in her first appearance. She doesn't mean any harm. Although, I don't think she really has much of an excuse in PoFV. "Hey, guys, what's going on in here? Danmaku? Cool, I'll join!" She's supposed to be like the tiebreaker though. Sorta like Mothra or those falling Bob-ombs. ZUN outright says she's annoying in her bio, though.
Great, now I'm imagining her throwing confetti at a party and Reimu tackling her out of instinct.
