Question: If your kid wanted to go into showbiz would you let them? In turn what would you have done if you had wanted to do showbiz and your parents had said no?

I've thought about this before. Part of me says, yes, I will support my daughter in any and everything she believes she can do. The other part thinks that I've heard kids say they want to be princesses and dragons. So how much of that desire from a child is true and genuine and not simply forced on them by greedy parents? Showbusiness is WORK and I want my kid to be a kid for awhile.
