Most of Bright Eyes stuff is packed with emotion.
As cliche as it is, "Fix you" by Coldplay can bring me to tears still. I think anyone can relate to that song for one reason or another. And "Til Kingdom Come", also by Coldplay. (it's literally my favorite song).
And then "name" by the GooGoo dolls is an emotional song for me personally because my dad sang it to me all the time growing up when we were a lot closer. -
Hmmmm. Okay. Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland. It's just like, you aren't a rock star or a millionaire and at times your life is gonna suck and it's hard, but you work and you are going places and that's flipping awesome. Or at least that's my interpretation. It motivates me

"Iris" by the GooGoo Dolls, a couple of the older Coldplay songs like "Fix You or "Yellow", "Ocean Avanue" by Yellowcard, nearly everything by Bright Eyes, and "Hedwig's Theme" from Harry Potter, which I know is cliche, but true.
