If you ever decided to give a baby up for adoption would you want an open or closed adoption? Why? [4]

    I know I would want an open adoption. I just couldn't live my life without knowing about my child. I would love to get pictures, letters, and updates about them. I never want them to wonder who I am or why I had to give them up.

    Closed. I would regret it in the long run and end up wanting them back if I got to see them all the time.

    I think I'd like a semi-open adoption. I would want to see them from time to time and get pictures of them, but I mainly just want them to be happy with their new family and grow up knowing them as their mom and dad, or mom and mom, or dad and dad. Because chances are, if I ever give a baby up for adoption, it will go to a gay couple. But I just want my child to be happy where they are and know that I'm here and that I love them, but that I'm not their true mother.
