I've gotten more confident with them.

I spent years being terrified of my "powers" cause they could kill. Back then I had little to no real comprehension of what they did or how they worked.
A few years ago I decided to not let my fear limit me and I picked apart what I can do bit by bit and came to realize that no matter how my powers manifested, at their core I was simply manipulating energy. That one realization gave me more control over them than anything else ever has. -
Not all that much. I've been pushing the hydraulics in the crab arms lately, and testing out the suit's weight compensation. The way the pads mesh together I can easily hold more weight than before without it being a problem. It's not overly noticeable, and it doesn't make me hit any harder, but it helps keep me stable when doing more outrageous things.
All in all, I learned that these crab arms can lift quite a bit, and with the added benefits from my uniform, I might be able to finally utilize it. I can't lift up a car or anything (yet) but I dont have to rip and tear it into as many pieces to throw them, I guess is what I'm saying. You get the idea. -
My FS archives are pretty much the history of my one major breakthrough ^_^;

Overtime I managed to control just how much 'juice' I put into my electro-shocks of justice. Although the process did involve going through a lot of light bulbs. My powers also required me to know a few things about electricity, granted I'm no expert but just some general knowledge and tips. Also some months back I spent time with some interesting folks who call themselves "The Children of Zeus' and picked up a few new tricks from them, such as ionizing air particles and using it to mimic a thunderstorm and a technique to build up a Mega Ultra Hyper Charge and release it as a Cleansing Bolt of Awesome Justice!

Hnn... at first I was so confused, in the first few days I hh-killed a lot of people. I got myself under control enough to nng... to vow to only drink animal blood. It was quite quickly I realised that was making me lose my um... mind. So, I'd leave myself little notes. I couldn't write much, no one ever taught me to write properly, but notes to remind myself that food didn't talk, and that I was looking for my wife. It worked for a bit. Now I have a r-reliable way of getting blood without hurting innocent people, my ability to think is coming back, just a little. I think I might never be quite how i used to be. It's a start.

What started off as being able to make strong static electric shocks has turned into a power that allows me to manipulate electromagnetism, one of the fundamental forces of nature. This control gifted me the ability to travel through time, space, and alternative realities.
I still use my "blasting" abilities but I prefer to work more covertly.
One of the things that I do find puzzling is how, despite being 16 years younger than Elder Amber would be if she were still in this time-line, my powers and my ability to control them have grown exponentially. I do not understand why this should be the case.
In consulting Elder Amber's diary, she wrote volumes about something she referred to as "The Well" and how her gaining it's favor and becoming an Incarnate was evidence of her faith in Zeus being rewarded. I'm not so certain but I am at a loss to explain how else I would be granted her powers without the experiences needed to gain them. -
A propensity for inflicting pain is more intuitive than any moral person would ever expect.
