How can we remove biases? [14]

We can't. As long as there are people on this planet with functioning brains, we will have opinions on things. We all make judgements every day about all kinds of things, it's our nature, it's automatic.

We can't. When looking at the world, we have to stand somewhere, and that becomes our (limited and flawed) point of view

I guess it depends how well those biases are informed, and how much we identify with them. Empathy might be a good start. Being able to at least see what opposing thought on something is, and why people might be inclined to feel as they do about it is at the very least somewhat constructive. As for shaking strong biases, I guess it requires an overhaul on ones opinions on matters. Sometimes education helps. If it's a bias that is fuelled exclusively on groupthink, bandwagons, or prescribed by a defined authority, there is a good chance the person has little to no interest in seriously considering their position.

By realizing that the things that separate us are far outnumbered by the things that could unite us :)
