Has anyone successfully conquered their fear of heights and if you have, how? [3]

Yes! I'm afraid of heights and here's what I did to overcome that:

    1. Don't look down (better to just close your eyes)
    2. Hold someone's hands (if no one around, just hold your own hand; you can fool yourself into false security)
    3. MOST IMPORTANT: Try to avoid high places (if you can't avoid high places, say because you work on the 5th floor; then refer to steps 1 and 2)

The fear of heights can also cause dizziness. Avoid food. And remember to breathe. I'd say avoid liquor but that may actually help you (results may vary).

Nope. If I can fall off of it and die, I better be tied to it. I have great balance, but I get vertigo like a boss, when I look down from high places.
