Yes, as a man I am a soulless automaton. Like a a Klingon, a shark, or Ayn Rand, i believe these feelings of affection are only for the weak.

that said, if someone said "wuv" to me then she'd better be my 6yo daughter. otherwise, i will disappear in a puff of brimstone.

I don't think that's anything exclusively female; I think we might show it differently (at least outwardly). Men have more societal pressure to keep that sort of thing under wraps, while women (fair or not) are expected to do cartwheels or whatever they're putting into these romantic comedies now. I think it's perfectly human to have the same nervous excitement about connecting with someone, regardless of gender.

I WANT ALL THE ROMANCE. There's two sides to it, the giving and the receiving part of romance. It's usually me that makes the first move and does the "expressing" and "big gestures" which is fun. My knees don't usually go weak until my heart is on pieces on the floor.

I am female, but this needed to be here.

I'm always weak in the knees. Love Stinks!

I am very comfortable with emotions, although I will freely say I am not much of a public display type. I have no trouble saying 'I love you' (or hearing it) but its just something I am going to do in private. My knees are rock solid but when unidentified female X said I was cute back in junior high school, I just about fainted.

Romance and tru wuv are super manly. I dunno what people are talking about when they say that.

I don't go weak in the knees-- I go weak in the shoulders and hands. It's funny.

No, but I think there are definitely more women who want love than men. Even gay dudes just want sex, unfortunately >.>

I'm gay and I want romance myself, I want to meet a guy to fall in love with, not some random stranger to hook up with every night >.>

I don't know if I go weak in the knees, but it's always nice to hear love and emotions expressed to me. :) True love is definitely not just for the lady types. :)

I have to admit, I have a soft spot for romance. I may have a tough exterior and seem confident, but if my gal ever gives me a cute look, whispers sweet nothings or just hangs on my arm in a certain way, you can bet I will fold like a cheap tent.
