Legalize it, regulate it, tax it, make millions, use the money to pay for social programs or to help lower state deficits.

Only for purposes of medicinal use, and it shouldn't be used out in public areas. Otherwise, no way.

TO ANYONE WHO SAYS YES: FUCK YOUR STONER CULTURE.

If it gets legalized here in America, I swear I'm moving the fuck out. But that doesn't mean I'm going to let a bunch of retards lead this country that easy though.

Most people who say yes don't know jack shit or are misinformed about everything. Yes, it can be used as medicine but if marijuana gets legalized, a lot more people are going to become marijuana users. When that happens the amount of young people who are already smoking this shit are going to increase. These dumb fucks don't know that it still affects their brain when they're young and it hasn't fully developed. I'll be in a country where no one can make a clear fucking sentence; they can't speak, write, or type like a normal human being. Their communication skills fails, and it's a disgrace. A lot of people say that legalizing them will help us get rid of all the brainless humans but a superpower shouldn't have unintelligent citizens if they plan to keep being a superpower. We shouldn't let the unworthy fall without doing anything, we need to stop them and raise some educated, intelligent humans.

It would be nice if we can get rid of these uninformed people, and their weed is already doing that. Weed has carcinogenic hydrocarbons, but most weed user don't know that. They just want to run away from their problems. I have some friends that like to smoke weed, and guess what? Almost all of them were/are gang-related. The saddest part is that before one of them was murdered, I saw his true potential. I saw how much smarter this guy was and if I were to guess, he probably smoked to cope with this low society. I would too, but I know I can do better. He could have done better, but I hope he's in a better place.

There's people who actually believe that jails have inmates who are only being held by simple marijuana possession. Lol what retards. These guys don't get sentenced because they smoke marijuana, these guys had other charges against them too. How do we know that this wasn't the guy that was dealing to kids? These guys don't have any goals and I doubt that you do if you smoke it too. And now for those who think it's going to fix our fourteen digit national debt? Heavily taxed alcohol and cigarettes didn't change anything, why would a drug?

As years pass, the United States seems to get worse and worse. I think it has to with all the focus on the countries that we shouldn't even be in. Why can't this country fix itself before it takes shits on others?

YES. It helps people with cancer deal with the side effects and not only slows down cancer progression, can even possibly cure cancer by killing cancer cells. The medicine people usually take for cancer is toxic to the body and mind and doesn't help relieve the pain and nausea as well as marijuana does.

Also, it's great for people who can't take traditional medicine for specific reasons (side effects, allergic to ingredients, etc.) who have ADD, Crohn's Disease, eating disorders, and many other syndromes/disorders/diseases/etc. In fact, there are some children with Autism who do very well on it.

As a recreational thing, I see no problem with it either. As long as it has an age restriction and regulation, I don't see a problem.

Yes. Legalize, regulate, and tax it. The goverment made a lot of money after the Prohibition; imagine how much it would help the deficit if marijuana was legal.

Absolutely. Banning a problem does not get rid of the problem. Recent research has shown a decrease in IQ in users under 18 years old. The question is this - why is that used as evidence against legalisation? With it illegal, and with no real control over the drug, what do they fucking expect? Of course kids are going to be able to get their hands on it. There's no government control over it at all. At the end of the day, it's about freedom of choice. Do you want someone to not develop a cannabis habit because they're not allowed to, or because they're educated and have made an informed choice? Legalise it, tax it, and spend the money on science and education.

Yes. @petedavison93 there you go. I agree it should be legalised.
