This is going to turn out to be a rant and a half...
Yes. I used to be best friends with my next door neighbour. We used to walk to school together everyday, then one day we were walking to school, she put her headphones in and ignored me all the way to school. The next day I knocked on her door and she'd already set off. She refused to talk to me, she just walked away, so I text her telling her that she was being really fucking rude and she just said "I want to walk to school on my own now, I like listening to music on the way, it helps clear my head." Few days later, guess what? She was walking to school with someone else.
I used to try to be friends with her, like the other day my friend who she hasn't seen in ages was round so I text Liv saying "Anna's here and she hasn't seen you in ages so come round", she text back "I'm at work, I'll be out in about 30 mins". She never came round.
I asked her to come on a camping trip, she said no, she doesn't think she'll like camping. Next thing I know she's got pictures of a camping trip with church up on facebook.
Last year, I spent about a tenner on here birthday present. She made me a cake.
The other week it was her 18th so I bought her a nice gift from Lush. I went round the day after her birthday to give her the present and asked her how here birthday was. She said;
"Yeah it was good thanks. Although, I went to cafe nero with friends from school today and not one of them remembered it was my birthday. Not one card or anything."
I was like, well I remembered.
Next thing I know, pictures on facebook titled "Livs 18th" with some people from school and someone that she told me that she didn't even think was her friend anymore. That hurt me most, because she always used to tell me that she didn't like Emma as a close friend anymore, only as someone that she sees at school. I don't see what I've done to have gone from a really close friend to someone that she hardly even remembers.
Also, she was the ONLY person that stuck with me when I was having a hard time at school, she is the only person that even knows half of what I felt back then. It pisses me off how she knows all that, but she's still just kinda left me because she got 'better friends'.
Yesterday she had her driving test, so I said good luck, obviously, and gave her a few tips. She failed, but she didn't even text me to tell me, just left me hanging for me to find out from my mum who found out from Livs mum. I'm not even gonna bother next time, I just get knocked down every fucking time I try. -

Yeah, me and my best friend used to chill like every day when I was unemployed and finished school. After I got a job we stopped hanging out cause I didn't have the time and now he's like some party animal/weed smoking lazy bastard. I see him in town with a girl I used to know and if I wasn't the one to say hi first, I'm pretty sure he would just ignore me and walk past.
