I'm right handed, but I am trying to become ambidextrous. I can do certain things with my left hand, that I wouldn't have been able to do two years ago.
I've started to try to write and I've gotten a bit better, but I still have lot's to go... it's funny because I have a different writing style with my left hand...
It's also good, because you can give your one hand a break, I do this alot now in games like minecraft.. XD
Unfortunately, lot's of people used to think that being left handed was evil, or a sin.
Sadly, lot's of people still think that today. And they will do whatever they can to change it. -
I know a bunch of people who were born left handed, but Chinese culture kind of looks down on it 'cause its uncommon, so their parents (like yours) forced them to become right handed.
I'm right handed though. I'm pretty sure my right arm is significantly larger than my left arm for...various reasons. -

I was learning Chinese and English at the same time, but didn't take well to either until in public school a aid/tutor sat with me weekly everyday learning vocab and playing matching games. When i Attended Chinese school my mom forced me to use my right hand because alternated my hands for certain strokes and it was weird and inefficient i guess.
(i still only hold a cup with my left hand and write with my right, but i go bowling with either hand)
I came out knowing like 5 actual characters or something not including numbers and other things like that, but i knew vocally about 700 words just by listening to my parents and watching Jackie Chan movies.
Of recent, I'm trying to learn more Chinese writing and do some calligraphy (western calligraphy is so much easier except for big fancy letters like at a start of a story) ;__; along with french and other stuffs. http://puu.sh/14Oqf this is my name in Chinese. -

I'm pseudo-ambidextrous. Originally right handed but have forced myself to learn leftist methods because of my tendinitis. Writing and mousing with my left hand can give the right a break.

I'm left handed and my father flaunted the fact that he was left handed because of the lack of left-handers and the theories that have yet to be proven true. I don't really think it matters what hand is your dominant hand.

I was teaching my son to use his left hand, but my bitch sister forced him to become right handed. -
I am somewhat ambidextrous but my right hand is my dominant hand. While I can write and strum with my right hand, I hold my fork in my left.
