Frankly I'm surprised anyone remembers me there. I know the few times I've posted there this year, I get a few "OMG Q's Back!" posts and that makes me feel really good about myself. xD

Navy is still the best decision I ever made, though it's not for everyone. For me, I'm almost constantly underway/out to sea, so I'm away from everybody. Working days are long and you don't get any days off underway. But, I still enjoy it because the people I work with are cool, and the places I get to visit are pretty awesome. I've already been to Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia. And I've only been on this ship for a year. =3 I am not close with my family, so the fact that I never see/talk to them is a non-issue. And I really like Japan.
There are some issues I dislike with my chain of command(management, basically) but that would be anywhere in any job, so it's still not so bad. Plus the money I'm making is pretty sweet (considering I have no bills). XD

If I had never joined Gaia, I really don't think Q would've been created.
When I joined Gaia, our avatars were supposed to be our roleplaying characters (Back then it was an 'anime roleplaying sommunity). My name was Ziko and he was basically a werewolf character. in Late 2004/early 2005, the items (70s shirt, 90s gloves, amore hairstyle) came out that made Q. I changed my name to [Q] in October 2004. But he still wasn't really a 'character' yet.
The only reason why Q is so in-depth as he is now (and I'm reworking him yet again, very slowly) is because I wanted to get art of him, but I wanted all the art to have some unifying theme. So that's why.

I mean, there's a SLIM CHANCE that there would've been a Q character had I never joined gaia, because I was still roleplaying pretty religiously (And I joined Gaia strictly to roleplay), but if he had been created, it would've been some medieval fantasy type thing, not the modern-based character I have now. The only reason I grew out of fantasy roleplays were because there were less of them on Gaia, it seemed. And where I used to rp (chat rooms) it was like a snowball's chance in hell of finding something that WASN'T midieval fantasy.

I think they didn't always describe me, but as I've gotten older I've found that I am 'growing into' them. In the beginning I remember not believing in any of that sort of thing, and laughing at how the descriptions didn't match up.
But now they do.
So it's sort of ironic. xD

Lol! I'm surprised no one has actually asked me this before. It only takes me 5 - 10 minutes. I type on average 50wpm. 40wpm on a slow day, up to 100wpm if I'm really on a roll and I know what I'm talking about.

He wasn't a badass originally. And it's debatable if he's badass now. Sure he LOOKS badass, but if you've been with him for more than a day (in an RP) it's pretty evident he is just a weepy little boy putting on a tough guy act. It's actually pretty sad.

But anyway, Q started out as a jokester character. He was 5'5" tops, and I played him that way in the Artist's battle royale guild. Over the years he got a completely different character background and switched genres (Originally he was a gaia-based character. Now he's based on modern or futuristic). Now He's 6' and extremely reserved, hardly ever cracking a joke. Whereas 2005 Q was full of them.

2005 Q had the ability to turn other Gaians into the animal representations of themselves (which made a lot more sense back then because we had much fewer animal items). He was an "Avatar editor" and he made permanent edits (ghosting) which he got banned for. He was sort of that quirky underdog hero type. His archnemesis was DARKNRGY. Years later, he turned into a much older, taller, serious guy who replied on guns only, and had a lot of health problems. Though Q loves sniping, he started out as a huge fag. The short of it is that his bf, Ves, ditched him for women and Q was so heartbroken he "turned straight" and became homophobic. http://q.khat.us "True Q Universe" if you're interested.
To top it all off, the guy's dying. He'll black out if he gets too active-- what kind of badass runs from a fight and faints? There isn't one. Exactly. XD

No, and you're not the only one. But for just as many people who like what I write, there are those who also dislike reading it. So there are two sides to the spectrum.

This is probably a joke question, but YES I BELIEVE IN UNICORNS OMG.

Jiden is based directly off me, so he basically IS me. xD
Q started out as the man I WANTED to be, but quickly evolved into something else entirely, and there's very little he has in common with me. Lori Lentil and Greyson (My last two 'real' characters) have absolutely nothing to do with me.

Rarely, I may say "how would [character] handle this?" and might handle a situation that way. But normally this is unrealistic because my characters are mostly unable to live in our real world as it is now.

Most of my characters have green eyes. Like mine. =3
And tanned skin, which is what I used to have (I paled over the years. I used to be much more native american). Aside from that, they usually also started out with brown, almost black hair. Which is also like me. xD
But as far as personality goes, Jiden is really the only character like me.

It's all right. I'm out to sea most of the time, and I hardly ever am back home (in Sasebo, Japan). But otherwise, there's always something interesting going on. I love the Navy so far.
