Number of video games I have really played in 2011: 9
Number of those games that came out in 2011: 6
Games that I started up and did not finish: 2, like didn't get past the first 2 levels.
So just to run it down, have not played a lot of games, so my opinion is really skewed.
Best: Skyrim....I mean Terraria and Portal 2. But of course, Skyrim is the best game of 2011, but no one wants to hear about Skyrim. Terraria is definitely a good overlooked one. Don't dismiss it as a Minecraft clone, because you definitely get more bang for your buck, and a definite sense of accomplishment when you play it. Really fun to co-op too. And Portal 2 is my overall choice, the dev team just took Portal 1 and ran with it. It is definitely an experience to play, something you don't really get with the multiplayer games being pushed out nowadays,
Worst: Those two games I didn't finish were Dead Island and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I just could not get into them, and from what I heard they are pretty shallow games in terms of gameplay. And the original Deus Ex was supposed to be a great role playing game, but apparently this one is a really shallow version of that....I mean what kind of role playing game allows you to max out every stat.... -

That's a tough one...the Triceratops is quite the formidable beast. Ankylosauria are also pretty badass. It's a tie between one of those two, probably the Ankylosauria, because nobody fucks with them.
