I don't recall saying my life is horrid. It's difficult, like anyone else's. What's the point in pretending it's all peaches and cream instead? Feigning happiness is worse than accepting misery, in my opinion.

Things aren't too bad, thanks. Last movie I saw at the theatre was Alice in Wonderland, and it was amazing. As you can see, though, I do not go often.

I think it was waking up just before sunrise during one camping trip. I walked outside and to the lake, and I just watched the sun come up. I was completely alone, and yet I wasn't sad about it. Everyone else was asleep, but it didn't matter. I was overcome by the sublime. It was amazing.

The Beatles - Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Close second would be Cradle of Filth - Cruelty and the Beast.

Well, last night I dreamt I was in the arms of someone I really loved, but when I went to look at his face, I woke up. Sadness.

I actually read a book about this one time! This girl's brain was placed into a monkey's body, and she had to learn how to do everything all over again. I think that as a monkey trapped in a human body, you'd have more to gain than the other way around. I wouldn't want my brain put in a monkey, that's for sure.

It may be because it's the same language being spoken, but the inflections and colloqualisms are so different that it becomes fascinating. Americans like all kinds of different accents, though; Irish, Scottish, Australian, South African...any country that speaks the English language with a sort of twist. It may be a throwback to colonialism, too, and knowing that most American ancestors were English at some point. It's an odd obsession, but one the country shares. =)

Um...wow? I don't know whether to be flattered or to be a bit creeped out. Obviously, I would love to know who this is, but that's not my decision. I thank you for your concern, and I think you know that you could help if you revealed your identity. It's nice to know someone cares, though, and I sincerely thank you for the compliment.

(I answered this once and it made no sense, so redo!)

I'm not an organized religion person. I think the institution of religion is just as harmful as other institutions, and that the fanatical followings of some religions do more harm than good. Killing in the name of one's religion does not sit well with me, especially since most dogma dictates that murder is evil. I don't see why exceptions should be made.

That being said, some people are comfortable with a group of others who practice their same faith and share their religious viewpoints. I see nothing wrong with this. If it makes sense to them and gives them happiness, then more power to them. It's the over-zealous that cause me to worry.

I don't know that anything "makes" me believe anything. I went to a Christian pre-school, but never attended a church service after that. I have studied other religions and have yet to find one that completely enthralls me. Instead, I have found certain ideas and practices that work for me, and I have adopted them into my belief system. I'm comfortable in what I believe, and that's really all that matters.

Getting a text message from this Irish guy I just started talking to. It's not everyday someone says "top-o-the-morning" to me. haha.
