Look man, a zombie apocalypse wouldn't happen. Look, consider this. Hundreds of zombies wandering around the city. It's a hot summer day. Their flesh is decomposing and the sun is quickly drying up all the water in their bodies. Maggots will be chewing through their skin within hours of infection. Once they die, their bodies stop healing themselves. They can't repair any damage done to them, whether it be from the sun, from the maggots, or just from stumbling over their own fucking feet. If you simply camp on the top of a building and lock all the doors, you probably won't even wait more than a few days. The zombies could even kill themselves coming in through the broken windows, if you don't kill them as they're coming in. (Try throwing staplers down from the roof onto them) A zombie apocalypse wouldn't happen, because there's no way any zombie would last more than a week.
