Honestly, right now I think I'd choose a week free from work or obligations in New York. That's not my hometown, so I think it counts.

Holiday music, hands down. I love it from the religious to the ridiculous. I used to LOVE our choir's Christmas concerts, or caroling with my friends, and I still love hearing the songs on the radio as I get ready in the mornings or playing them on the piano.

I've loved everything I've gotten. Some highlights:
A bottle of Patron in my stocking, I kid you not. A gift card to Bendel's, great jewelry, the collection of Ginsberg poetry, GG DVDs, new music, a BCEFA snowglobe, new dresses. <3<3<3

My real favorite is one that I haven't given yet, and the person(s) receiving it read this, so I can't post it here. But, it was "hand" made and I think it's really cute and suits them really well.

Also, I was in charge of the gift for one of my little cousins, who happens to love theatre. So, I made her a CD full of age-appropriate Broadway songs, got her a necklace with the comedy/tragedy masks, a star that says "Dressing Room" for her door and a bag they were selling at Wicked for BCEFA.

1. Bundle up and take a walk through Central Park. This could be considered touristy, but it's also one of the loveliest things to do in the city, especially if it's covered in snow.

2. Find a place to eat that's off the beaten path. There are lots of amazing places to eat in every neighborhood. (Sorry, I know that's very vague.)

3. Shop at little markets that spring up either instead of or alongside trips to the big department stores. There's a great on in Nolita where artists/designers bring their work every weekend.

Fun!

Dan - Gavin, just because his "I've Been" is so gorgeous.
Natalie - Briana would be really cute, and I love her voice. Or Katie Kiyan is another first thought, since she's young and sassy.
Henry - Jay, because hello, adorable stoner. Plus, I can imagine his voice on "Perfect For You".
Doctors - Kober. Anyone who says otherwise is just wrong. He even said he'd love to play those roles.
Gabe - Ryan Watkinson. I'm sure he can do Aaron proud on the pole dancing.
Diana - This is for sure the hardest. I don't think anyone in Hair is right for the role particularly, but I think I'd choose Megan Reinking (in a few years).

I'd definitely revive On the Town, but I am having a hard time choosing who to cast.

I'd love to see Matt Doyle as Chip, actually. And, this is kind of coincidental, but I could see Tveit as Gabey. For Ozzie, maybe Van Hughes? IDK.

As for the girls, I'm not sure who to cast as Ivy. She needs to be a phenomenal dancer, and most of the actresses I love aren't real dancers. Emma Hunton could be a cute Hilde, though she's probably too young. Maybe Ali Mauzey as Claire?

This is tough! But I'd love to see a professional cast this and bring it back to Broadway!

Well, I suppose it's all subjective. I'm sure there are some people who dislike things that are my favorite and things I really didn't enjoy were probably beloved by others.

That said, I've seen some AWFUL productions of Miracle Worker in my time. And the recent Broadway revival of Pal Joey was unbearable.
